Flight Simulator Motion Platform.

My goal for the end of this year is to purchase the Dream Flyer Motion Simulator for my system. It is about the same size as my office desk and will work great with my three monitors. No Motors or computers needed. It is a balance of weight and motion that makes it so unique.

I plan to not only have the three monitors in front of me attached to the motion simulator, but also plan on a 42 inch flat HDTV monitor for the main scenery direct in front mounted on the wall.

Triple Monitor for my Flight Simulator System

I am currently installing my new set of three monitors along with a new video card to support this.

The Matrox TripleHead2Go Digital Edition.

My current Dell Dimension XPS Gen 3 computer should have the power to run all this. It is a duel core Intel processor with 4gbs of DDR2 ram and 3gigibytes of processor speed. I might have to replace the power supply with a higher wattage unit. But the new video card should work fine.

Fancon '07

The 2007 AVSIM Flight Simulation Fan Convention (FANCON for short) will be held in Bellevue, Washington this year. The event will be held starting on Friday, the 9th of November and will conclude on Sunday, the 11th.

Bellevue is just outside of Seattle, Washington and minutes from SEATAC airport. This year's venue is the Hilton Hotel and Convention Center, and it is a jewel of a location!

What a beautiful sunny California day. The weather is most excellent.

I think I will go for a drive and check out the California Poppy fields reserve.

Or maybe I will just stay at home and watch youtube videos of musicians playing they're Yamaha Tyros 2 Keyboards just like mine.

My flight sim software is now up to version 10 FS X with google earth included.
